Turning off AirPods Max isn't quite the same as switching off a traditional device. Here's what happens, and how to manage their power:

• Entering Low Power Mode: AirPods Max don't have a dedicated power button. Instead, they automatically enter a low-power mode to conserve battery when placed in their Smart Case.
• Without the Smart Case: If you don't have the Smart Case, the AirPods Max will still enter a low power mode, but after a longer period of inactivity. It takes approximately 18 hours of being left still outside the case.
